Andrew & Brittany | An Intimate Winery Wedding in Port Clinton, OH

When we got to Mon Ami last Friday we were pretty stoked. See, we LOVE family. We love weddings because it’s literally the start of a new family! But with Andrew & Brittany? Well, they were already a family. ❤ They were basically getting up in front of their family and friends and stating what was already true. But to us, that’s what made their day all the more special.

It was hot outside, but that cellar was nice and cool. For that matter, so where Andrew & Brittany. We’re not sure we’ve ever seen two people so calm before they said their vows! The ceremony was precious, the kids were adorable, and Andrew & Brittany were just perfect! We’re so glad we got to spend the day with you two, and we can’t wait to show you the rest of your pictures!

Do you like Michael Jackson? Have a fun time getting down at clubs and weddings? Love adorable kids, sweet love notes, and laughing your head off? Then you, much like us, would LOVE Bryan & Carly. ❤

We met Bryan at John & Jessica’s wedding, and after he picked up the groom, and did the entire Billy Jean dance, we were pretty impressed. But then a month later, he came strolling into Mon Ami with his two babies in the stroller and a grab bag full of wedding material? I mean…we were pretty much sold. 😉 We got to Kalahari and we got into their rooms, you could just feel the anticipation and the excitement. The sweet love notes they passed back and forth, and the amazing gifts they exchanged just charged the atmosphere. Carly was so adorable when we got to Mon Ami. You see, normally we try and stop taking pictures about a half hour before the ceremony begins. But when we got to Mon Ami shortly before the ceremony, Carly said, “No, let’s just keep taking pictures! It’s a good distraction!”

But the moment she came walking down that aisle, all the nerves went away. One of the sweetest ceremonies we’ve ever gotten to witness…their little ones, Sebastian and Brynnley just made it that much sweeter, and that much more meaningful.

Cody & Emily | Port Clinton, OH Wedding Photography

Cody & Emily hired us to shoot their wedding about 3 months ago. Nope. You read that right. 😉 They contacted us about a week after a couple ended up having to move their wedding date from this past Saturday to next year. I mean, if that’s not fate, I don’t know what is. 😉 We absolutely loved spending the day with these two! They are sweet, tons of fun, and (just in case you can’t tell) super in love. The ONLY regret we have is that we didn’t have the time to get to know these two better!

The weather was iffy for last weekend, and with the wedding right off of the beach, who knew what was going to happen! But do you see those clouds? That sunshine? That ain’t photoshop and OCF…that’s the real deal. 😉 The day was absolutely perfect, and we couldn’t imagine a better day for two better people. We really hope that you all enjoy this small preview from the wedding day. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Brubaker! We can’t wait to show you the rest! 😀

We got to meet Bryan last year at John & Jess’s wedding. We pretty much loved him right away. Between carrying the groom like a baby and putting Michael Jackson to shame during “Billy Jean,” he was a winner in our book. We ran into him again later that year at the Mon Ami Bridal Fair (man…that show has been good to us lately! 😉 ), and he saw his handsome mug in the album we just couldn’t help but order after that wedding. He got a hold of us and the rest is history.

We literally can not help but laugh our heads off the ENTIRE time we are with these two. They are both kind, hilarious, wonderful people…and I think that anyone that knows them will whole heartedly agree with us. We hope these images really capture their fun loving spirit, and their amazing love for each other. ❤

Tony & Liz | Port Clinton, OH Wedding Photography

We got to meet Liz at the Mon Ami Bridal Fair last year. She was literally the very last bride we talked to before the cellar completely cleared out as everyone shuffled to the fashion show in the loft. The first time we saw her, we gave her all of our info, asked her about her and Tony, and then she walked away. Then she came back and said, “You know what? I know I want to hire you guys. So come find me at the fashion show.”

We were pretty darn excited. 🙂

The first time we got to see her and Tony together was at our studio just a few short months ago. I think we made them stay longer than they intended because we just couldn’t stop talking. :p We talked about everything from seaweed, to colons, to Cleveland Clinic…and the next time we saw them for their esession was no different. They’re both so easy to talk to, and such great people. It was pretty clear why they each wanted to spend the rest of their lives with each other. ❤

Eryn | Class of 2014

Say hello to Eryn. She’s a senior this year at Port Clinton High School. She keeps herself busy with cheerleading, working out at Put-in-Bay, and being generally awesome. We went out to Mon Ami for a good chunk of her senior session, and needless to say it was gorgeous!

We had a ton of fun with Eryn and her mom Tara. We sure hope it shows in these favorites we picked from her session. 🙂
