Bille & Desirae | A Rustic Wedding at The Stables in Whitehouse

We have literally been sitting on our hands for days while getting this blog prepared! The moment we walked into The Stables, our breath was taken away. The decor. Was. Perfect. The ladies from K & K were busily setting out typewriters, old cameras, books, vintage hats….yes. It was speaking straight to Stephanie’s old lady heart. The attention to detail was stunning! Even the plates were amazing. And when Desirae walked into the hall, she was just cool as a cucumber and ready to get the show on the road. She knew she was in good hands with her planners, and was just able to sit back and relax with her girls while we worked at getting detail shots of her GORGEOUS dress and jewelry.

Even when the time came to see her husband, she was calm and collected. We can’t even begin to describe to you how warm and loving the atmosphere was. If any two people were made to be together, it’s these two. They play off one another perfectly, they compliment each other completely, and love each other whole heartedly. ❤

The reception was such a fun party! There were so many #kscouples there, that it literally felt like a family reunion! After we put our cameras down, we were able to kick back and dance the night away with our friends, and it was so much fun! One of our favorite parts of our job isn’t that we have clients…we make friends. And Bille and Desirae? You’re stuck with us for life now. 😉

For meeting Bille & Desirae, we have Bryan & Lauren to thank (who we get to see later this month for their anniversary session!). We met Desirae and their wedding, and now we’re going to be a part of hers and Bille’s big day at the beautiful Stables in Whitehouse! We are SO excited to be a part of these two’s lives, and once you’ll look at the pictures you’ll see why. They are so in love, so much fun, have adorable pups, and an amazing family who helped them with their dogs and then they all sat down to have a picnic after the shoot. A PICNIC. Adorable.

These two are so full of love and laughter (even if Bille does think Desriae smells funny…) and they’re super contagious. We had so much fun and just felt so blessed to be around them! We are sooooo excited for your wedding in September!

Mike & Marissa | Whitehouse, OH Engagement Photography

Have you ever been out to The Stables in Whitehouse? Have you ever heard of it? If not, you need to google it right now. Or better yet, just click here. :p It’s a new up and coming venue, and they are killing it in the wedding industry already! This place is super cute and is just the PERFECT balance of rustic + elegance. So often we hear brides asking where they can find a barn to rent and so many times we’ve come up empty handed. Not anymore. 🙂

This is the place where Mike & Marissa will say “I do,” and we were soooo happy we got a chance to go down there and see it before the big day! Needless to say, Mike & Marissa have pretty fabulous taste. 😉

And they’re both pretty cool. We had a lot of fun with them, and we have to say…we LOVE it when we come in to do a shoot and the groom just is not sure about all of this at all, and then by the end of the shoot, he’s the one making suggestions! Seriously Mike, that rock? That moon? You were pretty on the ball. 😉

We can’t wait till we see you again in August!
