Blair & Brittany | A Fall Wedding at Freeport Hall

Stephanie can still remember Blair marching out on the field of the Fremont Ross Marching Little Giants during halftime in his football pads and cleats. She remembers hearing him practicing his trumpet in the back of the band room, and spending countless hours out on the soccer field. She remembers how dedicated he always was.

It doesn’t look like much has changed. 😉

Even though Blair & Brittany got married a year ago, they still wanted to have a wedding and threw one heck of an anniversary party! You can see his dedication to his family in everything he does, and Brittany truly couldn’t have found a better person to walk by her side for the rest of her life. We were so excited when we got there! We couldn’t wait to see Blair & Brittany, we couldn’t wait to see little Sophia, and we couldn’t wait to see the inside of Freeport Hall as this was our first time ever shooting there!

Everything last Saturday went so smoothly! We had so much fun with everyone, and truly couldn’t have thought of a better way to celebrate six years of marriage. 😉 Congratulations anniversary buddies! We can’t wait to show you the rest of your pictures!

Bille & Desirae | A Rustic Wedding at The Stables in Whitehouse

We have literally been sitting on our hands for days while getting this blog prepared! The moment we walked into The Stables, our breath was taken away. The decor. Was. Perfect. The ladies from K & K were busily setting out typewriters, old cameras, books, vintage hats….yes. It was speaking straight to Stephanie’s old lady heart. The attention to detail was stunning! Even the plates were amazing. And when Desirae walked into the hall, she was just cool as a cucumber and ready to get the show on the road. She knew she was in good hands with her planners, and was just able to sit back and relax with her girls while we worked at getting detail shots of her GORGEOUS dress and jewelry.

Even when the time came to see her husband, she was calm and collected. We can’t even begin to describe to you how warm and loving the atmosphere was. If any two people were made to be together, it’s these two. They play off one another perfectly, they compliment each other completely, and love each other whole heartedly. ❤

The reception was such a fun party! There were so many #kscouples there, that it literally felt like a family reunion! After we put our cameras down, we were able to kick back and dance the night away with our friends, and it was so much fun! One of our favorite parts of our job isn’t that we have clients…we make friends. And Bille and Desirae? You’re stuck with us for life now. 😉

Josh & Roseanna | A Yellow and Gray Wedding at Camden Falls

We started our journey with Josh & Roseanna two years ago. We remember the first time they sat in our office. We had such a great time getting to know them and hearing about their vision for their wedding! You know those moments when you meet someone for the first time and you just instantly click? That’s exactly what happened. The second they walked out of our office we looked at each other and said, “Oh man. We like them so much.” They called us back a few days later and said that they basically said the exact same thing as soon as they got in their car. Yes. It was most definitely love at first sight. 😉

After going through some family stuff, buying a house, and their relationship blossoming through it all, this past weekend everything FINALLY came together for this special couple! And it couldn’t have been more perfect. The day started out gloomy and a little rainy and we were so sad!!! The exact same thing happened for their engagement session! But the skies cleared and the sun came out as soon as the ceremony was over…we like to think it was the Big Man upstairs saying a hearty, “Congratulations.” Because if anyone personifies the sun coming out after the rain, it’s these two right here. ❤

We had a ton of fun with these two, and we like to think they did too. 😉 We are so beyond happy for you guys and can’t wait to have you back over to view everything else! Congratulations guys…you are such a wonderful couple and we couldn’t have been more honored to be a part of your wedding day!

Lex & Sydney | An Engagement Session on the Findlay Campus

We ADORE it when couples come to us with ideas on engagement session locations. And we love it even more when those locations have special meaning to them! Lex & Sydney knew immediately that they wanted to go to the University of Findlay for their engagement pictures. It’s where they met and fell in love! And we were pretty stoked, because the campus is absolutely gorgeous.

We started out under the university arch. Apparently there’s an old superstition that if you walk under the arch with someone, you will marry that person. They told us that it would be so funny to watch students intentionally go AROUND that arch even though it was much more convenient to go under it. We’re pretty glad they decided to go under it. 😉

Congrats Lex & Sydney! You two are such sweet and loving people, and we couldn’t have been more excited to take these pictures for you!

Derek & Megan | A Rustic Wedding in Napoleon

All of our couples our special to us, and every single wedding is exciting when we are lucky enough to be a part of them…but we’d by lying if we said Derek & Megan weren’t a LITTLE more special, and were weren’t a BIT more excited. Megan is kind of related to us. Kind of. She’s Stephanie’s sister’s husband’s sister. Kind of like seven degrees to Kevin Bacon. But much cooler. 😉

There is just something so precious about documenting moments amidst a family you’ve become so close to…and there were so many beautiful moments throughout the day! Letters were read, surprise gifts were given, and the tears were flowing! Even with Stephanie…because you all know what a big ball bag she is. :p Their wedding day was seriously just perfect. The weather was amazing (even if the mosquitos snacked on us while we were on the bridge), the decor was SO well thought out, and amazingly enough, Megan’s makeup didn’t run once even though she probably cried about 8 times that day!

We know you two are catching some rays in Punta Cana, but we hope you are unplugging and enjoying yourselves and that you are greeted with this little preview when you are stateside once more! Congratulations Derek & Megan…we can’t wait to see you guys and hang out again!

Taking pictures of these earrings and trying to hide them from Megan while she was in the same room was quite the challenge…they’re part of a matching set that she didn’t think she was going to get…until her dad surprised her with them later!

Mike & Marissa | A Rustic Wedding at The Stables

We were soooo excited when we arrived for Mike & Marissa’s wedding! Not only are they fabulous and wonderful people, but this was our first time working out at The Stables in Whitehouse! It is literally the PERFECT place for a country or rustic wedding, and the little that we’ve gotten to chat with the owner and event coordinator has been nothing but pleasant for us. There were so many little pieces that came together for this day to complete Marissa’s fabulous vision, and the outcome was simply gorgeous!

Nerves and emotions were running high at the salon, but the moment Marissa got into her dress, she was calm as ever. WHAT? That never happens! She was just ready to see her hubby-to-be in a super cute “first look” moment they got to share with one another. And poor Mike…he’s such a trooper! We had to cart him all around the grounds to avoid Marissa as we were taking her portraits and preparing for their first look! But as you’ll see, we caught a couple of awesome smiles from him that says to us that he may think it might have been worth it. 😉 And both Mike & Marissa’s mom were adorable and teary eyed the whole day…it was truly a magical thing to see as these two families blended together as one!

Congrats Mike & Marissa! You two are so adorable and perfect together, and we hope you enjoy this small preview of your equally perfect wedding day!

Sean & Samantha | Toledo, OH Engagement Photography

We literally CANNOT wait for Sean & Sam’s wedding. We get excited about every wedding it’s true, but this one in particular has us on the edge of our seats. We are HUGE nerds. Like, big time. And Sean & Sam happen to be getting married on George Lucas’s birthday. So just go on and take a guess at what their wedding is going to be like. 😀

We had such a wonderful time talking to these two when we first met with them, and an even better time at their session! We may have been eaten alive by mosquitos, and maybe we sweat like pigs, but we talked about cons, lightsabers, and Stephanie even got to pull back on a bow. We hope you two love the preview of your pictures! We can’t wait to show them all to you!

Brian & Lauren | Married

If there’s anything we love about our job (ok…we love EVERYTHING about our job!), it’s the people we meet and the connections we make. It’s true that Lauren and Stephanie have a history before wedding photography, but it doesn’t change the fact that being involved in their wedding planning gained us two friends who are not only awesome people, but a ton of fun.

And they look good. Seriously. They know how to dress for these pictures. 😉

We are SO happy for you guys. One year of marriage is a huge milestone! Perhaps this following year we should make ourselves less scarce to each other. Starting with Cedar Point! 😀 See you guys again soon! Can’t wait to show you the rest of the pictures!

Gage & Colleen | Toledo, OH Engagement Photography

Gage & Colleen are SO special (how special are they???). They are so special because they entered a contest through Sanctuary Restaurant (which is delicious!!!) over in the Cleveland area for military couples to win a free wedding. AND THEY ONE. Like, completely blew it out of the water. And we seriously couldn’t think of two people who are more deserving!

Gage is a combat veteran, and Colleen is currently in school to become a nurse. They got engaged after only a few short weeks after knowing each other! Hey. When you know, you just know! They were married soon after so Colleen could move with Gage when he was stationed out in California. Three years and a precious baby boy later, and they are still just as in love as ever. They even spent their anniversary with us taking these pictures!

When you are with these two, you just can’t help yourself. So much laughter and joy surround them…and so much love! Congrats you two, Happy Anniversary, and we can’t wait till your wedding day in November!

Andrew & Brittany | An Intimate Winery Wedding in Port Clinton, OH

When we got to Mon Ami last Friday we were pretty stoked. See, we LOVE family. We love weddings because it’s literally the start of a new family! But with Andrew & Brittany? Well, they were already a family. ❤ They were basically getting up in front of their family and friends and stating what was already true. But to us, that’s what made their day all the more special.

It was hot outside, but that cellar was nice and cool. For that matter, so where Andrew & Brittany. We’re not sure we’ve ever seen two people so calm before they said their vows! The ceremony was precious, the kids were adorable, and Andrew & Brittany were just perfect! We’re so glad we got to spend the day with you two, and we can’t wait to show you the rest of your pictures!
